Education Assistance Program (EAP)

This program assists with college expenses including rent for dorm/school living, school invoices, textbooks, and parking fees!

Active or Reserve

Active or Reserve service members E-5 or below, residing in Arizona OR attached to an Arizona unit Applicants will be asked to provide the following information:

  • Military ID
  • Orders, LES
  • Household (both military and civilian) information, income and expenses
  • Invoices for school, textbooks, and campus parking fees

Post 9/11 Veterans

Available to separated post 9/11 Veterans who have received a Purple Heart or Combat Action Badge, residing in Arizona. Applicants will be asked to provide the following information:

  • State ID
  • DD214, VA and disability benefits
  • Household information, income and expenses
  • Invoices for school, textbooks, and campus parking fees

All current Arizona Veterans or Reserve Service Members may be eligible for one-time assistance through MAM. In order to process an application, all information must be present including copies of bills and documents. Mobile or incomplete screenshots of bills WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bills must include your name, your account number, and the address of the lienholder. All applicants must be honorably discharged from their respected branch of service. The Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (Chapter 31) program does not qualify for the EAP program.

Applications will be processed during business hours (Tuesday-Friday: 8AM-3PM). All applications submitted outside normal business hours will be processed immediately on MAM’s next business day.
